VACCINATIONS

Proactively protect your pet’s health by ensuring he or she receives the appropriate vaccinations. Our team works with you to set up the best vaccination schedule for your cat, dog, kitten or puppy and offers tailored recommendations based on your pet’s lifestyle.

SICK/UNHEALTHY/ PET CONSULTATIONS/ EXAMS

Your pet’s health is our top priority. The sooner we can assess your pet, the quicker we can establish a diagnosis and plan. Our consultations, exams and screening tests allow us greater insight into your pet’s condition and are the essential first steps to uncovering what we can do to improve their wellbeing and comfort.

EMERGENCY/ WALK IN APPOINTMENTS

OFFICE HOURS ONLY
If your pet becomes injured or sick, we accept walk-ins. In certain emergency situations, hesitating to seek care can mean the difference between life and death. Our veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians are committed to your pet’s health and happiness, and providing the care and assistance they need to feel their very best – regardless of whether you have a scheduled appointment.

GROOMING

We take care of your pet, inside and out. We are thrilled to offer an extensive range of grooming services. They include include basic needs like routine bath, haircut and trim, ear cleaning and nail trimming, to more specialized offerings like nail polish. Whether grooming your pet yourself just isn’t working out or you simply lack the time, let us work with your pet in our clean, comfortable environment to keep them looking and feeling their best.

ULTRASOUND

Ultrasonography is a non-invasive and pain-free procedure used to examine your pet’s internal organs and structures. We use ultrasound technology to confirm or monitor pregnancy, evaluate the animal’s heart, kidneys, liver, gallbladder and bladder, or to detect fluid, cysts, tumors or abscesses.

This imaging technique works by using sound waves and does not involve radiation. There are no known side effects. Typically, the procedure does not require the pet to be sedated or anesthetized. We sometimes use ultrasound in combination with other diagnostic testing, including radiology, to get a holistic view of your pet’s status and proper diagnosis.

All ultrasound tests are reviewed and assessed by a skilled clinician.

SURGERY

We understand that surgery can cause stress for patients and patients’ caregivers. Our team of skilled veterinarians conduct all surgeries with the utmost precision and care to ensure your pet enjoys the most successful outcome.

Our surgical services cover routine operations such as spaying and neutering, to more advanced solutions like cystotomy, foreign body removal, ocular surgeries and lumpectomy.

Pre-surgery, our team performs a comprehensive physical exam and pre-anesthetic testing before administering a safe anesthetic. Your pet is closely monitored throughout surgery. Post-procedure, we provide medication to alleviate discomfort during recovery. Every step of the way, our team is focused on overseeing your pet’s needs, ensuring their safety and doing everything possible to minimize discomfort.

RADIOLOGY

Our state of the art digital x-ray equipment is an important tool for evaluating your pet because it enables non-invasive examination of the bones, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, heart and genitourinary system.

We use radiology alone or in tandem with other tests to identify internal issues, rule out possible problems and uncover potential causes to conditions.

Because our equipment is digital, this technology allows for faster diagnosis and less exposure to radiation than with traditional x-ray machines. Pets are required to remain completely still while an x-ray image is taken. Occasionally, we may need to use a short-acting general anesthesia or sedate your pet.

All radiology tests are reviewed and assessed by a skilled clinician.

DENTAL

Oral health is just as important for pets as it is for humans. Our dentistry services are both preventative and prescriptive. We offer everything from routine dental cleanings (annual visits recommended) to extractions for diseased teeth.

Without the ability to brush their teeth every day, pets suffer from bacteria and food buildup between their teeth. If left unchecked, this can not only lead to deterioration of the tissue and bone surrounding the teeth, it can also result in bacteria slipping into the bloodstream, causing serious infections in major organs that can sometimes result in death. Proactively combat potential issues by helping your pet maintain good oral health.

Schedule your pet’s dental exam today for an oral assessment.

IN-HOUSE LAB EQUIPMENT

Because we have our own suite of testing and diagnostics equipment on site, we can quickly provide results. This allows us to more efficiently assess your pet’s situation and begin treatment. In addition to our radiology and ultrasonography equipment, we also collect and process bloodwork in-house

A message from Glanbrook Veterinary Services

We have needed to make some changes in order to stay open and take care of your furry friends.

For the safety of all of our clients and staff we are no longer allowed to let any people other than staff into the building.

We currently take payment over the phone or via machine (debit or credit), and can save credit card to file. Still no cash payments.

If you are here for an appointment we will have a veterinary assistant or technician take a history from you over the phone and pick up the pet from the safety of your vehicle. The technician / assistant will bring your furry friend into the clinic to be assessed by the veterinarian who will then call you with a diagnosis and to answer any questions you may have. We will return your pet to your vehicle once the appointment is finished.

For all appointments we will be taking payment over the phone with credit card.

Please call us when you arrive
