She has done some equine medicine in the past, but is now devoting her career to small animal medicine. Heather has a special interest in ultrasound.
Heather currently lives in Caledonia with her husband Dave, and her twins…Will and Lucy! They are fourteen years old! She also has three furry children, her dogs Emmie, Dori and Ronie. Needless to say, Heather is a very busy lady!! When she isn’t spending time with her family, Heather enjoys playing hockey and ultimate frisbee, and spending time outdoors!
Heather absolutely loves her job, and the constant challenge it provides her. Each day is filled with new adventures, and she always goes home feeling fulfilled!
If you can’t find Dr. Marissa at GVS, then she is most likely spending time at the emergency veterinary clinic in downtown Hamilton looking after pets that need care out of regular clinic hours. She has a special interest in ultrasound/diagnostic imaging, cytology (especially with dermatology cases), and is hoping to pursue further experience with emergency surgical procedures in the coming year.
Dr. Marissa lives just outside of Caledonia with her husband, Kaleb; their two daughters, Rayna and Naomi; two dogs, Ruby and Floyd; their cat, Finnigan; and their newest addition, a Muscovy duck named Robot Mobile J. In her spare time, Dr. Marissa loves to spend time with her family, as well as to play indoor volleyball in the winter and softball in the summer.
She is looking forward to growing alongside the team at GVS as we continue to strive to provide the top level of care for our patients and clients!
Dr. Morganti has a keen interest in behaviour and nutrition. With her previous Duck Toller, Indy, she competed in various canine obedience competitions in both CKC and CARO. Her puppy Toller, River, is keeping Dr. Morganti on her toes!
Dr. Morganti’s husband and two children help her to be the best veterinarian she can be. When not in the clinic, Dr. Morganti participates in a wide variety of hobbies, which include hiking, skiing, reading, baking, crafting, and anything This Old House.
She resides in Cambridge with her 5 dogs (4 poodles & Scottish Deerhound) several cats, horses, and birds. In her spare time Chris enjoys training and showing her dogs as well as showing her love for the sport of soccer. Chris has a special interest and passion in marine mammals and ocean conservation.
Rebecca and her husband Kyle live in Brantford along with all of their fur children. This includes their three dogs, four cats, rabbit and four ducks. Outside of the clinic Rebecca enjoys spending her time painting, playing volleyball and antiquing.
